Collections Shoppe FAQ's

How long does it take to receive personalized orders? 
From the time you place your order, it can take up to 3-6 weeks for you to receive your readymade suite.

Will I see a proof?
Before printing and assembly of your invitations begin you will be sent the “final PDF proof” by email within 3 days of placing your order. At this time you will review and confirm that every detail is perfect; the layout, type style, spelling, grammar and punctuation. If something is amiss, please reply to us with the correct revisions. We will then send you another proof for your approval. You have up to 3 rounds of revisions.

We ask that you confirm by signing and sending the final approval sheet via email or fax. Your signature is just as unique as our designs.

Can I switch designs after I received a PDF Proof?
It is possible to switch designs after a PDF proof is received, but it will incur additional costs of $75 per design item. Sorry about the additional charge, but we put a lot of special care and time into formatting each design to make it perfect just for you.    

Can you assist me with etiquette and wording?
The wording of your invitation reflects your personality, style of wedding and family preference. If you are lost and looking for a little guidance, we recommend checking out The Knot’s Wedding Invitation Wording Samples.

When should I mail out my save the dates and/or wedding invitations?
We suggest mailing your save the dates 5-10 months prior to the wedding date and mailing wedding invitations 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding date. 

What is your return and refund policy?
If you choose to cancel your order between the time your order is placed and a confirmation is received we will refund you 50% of your total order. Once final proofs are approved, orders may not be cancelled or refunded. 

Additionally, after your approval of the final design, if any mistakes are found Ice Cream Social is not responsible. By approving your final proof you accept responsibility for the information and layout as provided. 

Do you offer digital printing options?
Not at this time. We hope to expand our printing range in the future. Please check back with us periodically.

What is the difference between Collections Shoppe & Custom Made?
Collections is a pre-designed product. The designs cannot be changed, only the copy and colors can be personalized.Custom is a 100% original design. We start with your special story and details to create a one of a kind unique design just for you.

I'm ready to start my personalized design, what now?
Step 1. Choose a design.
Step 2. Personalize your information. This includes selecting the quantity, paper color, ink options, and providing any additional details we may need in the info Information and Personalization box. 
Step 3. Order.

Once we receive your order, we will personalize your design with the supplied information and send out a digital PDF proof for your approval within 3 business days of placing your order. Once the digital proof is approved, your print production process will begin. Since Letterpress is an old fashion, beautiful form of printing, it can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks for you to receive your order. Please allow yourself this time in your planning process.

I don’t see my exact wedding color, can I submit my own color?Yes, we can match your custom wedding for an additional fee of $25. The best way to provide us with your custom colors is by Pantone® number from a Solid Uncoated Guide. We realize that not everyone has access to these books, so you can visit the Pantone site to review colors online. If these colors don’t suit you, you can provide us with your custom colors via email from a swatch or inspiration. From there we can send you a digital color proof for your final approval. Please note, colors vary between monitors and printers so we cannot guarantee any color viewed on screen will match exactly to a printed version.

Or if you prefer to see the actual color swatch, we will mail you up to 5 swatches of your choice for an additional fee of $5.

Can I choose more than 2 colors?
Due to the letterpress process, we only offer 1 or 2 color options at this time.

Can I pick different color combos for each printed piece?
Yes you can, although we don't recommend it for continuity.

What kind of paper do you print on?
We offer a luxurious heavyweight matte cover stock in either white or off-white. Please see our color chart for reference or request paper samples. 

What is letterpress?
We love letterpress! It’s the oldest form of printing where ink is applied to raised plates, which is then pressed into thick beautiful paper leaving an impression. It’s looks and feels beautiful!

Where do I submit my wording?
Please submit your wording in the Special Information & Personalization Box before you place your order. 

Can I cancel my order?
Once you confirm that the details of your order are correct you cannot cancel your order. If errors are discovered after you receive the printed pieces we are required to charge full price for a re-print. 

Can I have the artwork and font(s) from the design that I purchased?
No, the artwork and fonts are not part of your purchase. Ice Cream Social LLC own all original artwork. By law, reproduction of any Ice Cream Social LLC artwork is copyright infringement.

Can I order samples?
We don’t offer design samples at this time. As the Collections part of our business grows, we will be able to provide samples in the near future. For examples of letterpress printing, please see our Custom Collections.  

We do offer Paper and Color Samples for and additional $5. This includes both the white and off-white paper samples as well as 5 color swatches of your choice. Please note, if you’re ordering samples at the same time you place a product order it can delay the production process. We recommend rush shipping in this situation. 

Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax will be charged for all New Jersey and California State residents.

Do you accept international orders?
Unfortunately, with Collections designs we do not accept international orders at this time. We hope to offer this option in the future.

What is your Privacy Policy?
We maybe Ice Cream Social LLC, but we are very anti-social when it comes to sharing your information. We respect your privacy, and we do not sell or share your email address or personal information with other companies. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
